Greetings and introduction is an act of communication during which community purposely make their presence known to each other, to means attention to, and to suggest a sort of relationship (usually cordial) or social status (formal or informal) between individuals or groups of people coming in-tuned with each other .
Greetings are sometimes used just before a conversation or to greet on a walkway. It indicates social behavior of human being.
Examples of some greetings and introductions:
- Hi,
- Hello,
- Good morning/ afternoon/ evening,
- Nice to meet you,
- It’s a pleasure to meet you etc.
Q. Write a short paragraph describing the problem you face in teaching English at training school and the ways that you deal with the problems Try to use some of the generalizing expressions like “generally speaking’’ ‘on the whole”, “in general” “by and large” etc.
Answer:
As a primary teacher generally we have to face so many difficulties in teaching English. However, in DPEd training, I have to face many problems in teaching English at training school.
Now I am going to discuss the problem and the ways that I have deal with some problems which is the main limitation to learn English are given below:
1. Native language:
Generally speaking, in the native language is the most noticeable issue faced by English teachers. It’s very easy to spend in their native language which they can speak easily instead of the English language.
2. Disturbed Environment of the class:
The disturbing environment of the classroom distracts the teachers and affects the teaching of the English language. On the whole, a suitable and comfortable environment is the basic need of teaching the English language.
3. Limited teaching Resources:
Not only the English language, teaching anything mostly depends on the resources. The resources include the speaker, microphone, projector, computer system and other kinds of digital devices. Mostly the teachers faced this kind of problem, the resources which are essential for delivering the lecture of the English language to the students for effective learning are not provided to them.
4. Large number of students:
A Large Number of students in the classroom produce a lot of disturbance and stress for the teacher because teaching a large number of students the teachers have to give more effort and hard work.
5. Time management:
Time is one of the most essential matter for learning the English language. It takes time for the teacher to observe their students and serve teach them at their level. The time of the class is very less for the teaching to teach the English language.
6. Involvement:
Sometimes the students are not interested in learning and attending the lecture of the direct English language.
7. Create scope of learning:
In general, the students belong to the rural areas where there is no scope of practice for learning the English language. It’s very difficult for them to learn the English language.
By noticing these problems, I applied some ways to overcome it. Such as:
- I try to make the class enjoyable and interesting by applying some games.
- I arranged the class properly.
- I always act with simple words and sentences with them. Always
- I try to behave friendly with them as they can discuss their problems with me.
- I managed my time consciously.
By and large, I engaged them in some activities like pair work, Group work etc. so that they can’t disturbance in class.

Importance of your DPEd course:
- The DPEd programme focused on the professional development of primary school teachers leading to their knowledge and understanding at a deeper level.
- The DPEd course has been designed to bring about a change in our primary education system, particularly for the teacher to education system through its modern and dynamic approach.
- A scope for the primary teachers how to develop teaching materials for the primary classroom.
- Practical based work on case study, action research, lessen study etc.
- How to conduct microteaching.
- Acquire know about latest learning theory specially on constructivism theory etc.
- How to survey baseline, make fortnightly and daily lesson plan as a primary teacher.
- Getting information about mentoring and collaborative learning.

Good morning, Students. How are all of you? I am a new comer in your class. From now on I shall take your English class, Now let me introduce myself to all of you.
My name is Sanjida hossain, My home district Nilphamari. I have done my B,Sc (Honours) and masters Degree in English language and literature from Govt Begum Rokeya college. I have one son. My parents are alive. I live in the nearby are a of the school and my family lives with me.

Hope you are well. In your last letter, you wanted to know about my DPEd training and my PTI. Now I am telling you about that. My DPEd training is 18 months course. I have already passed 14 studies staying in PTI. Here, There are other teachers of many primary schools like me. From this training. I am learning how to teach my students. Our trainers are very cooperative. They are very friendly too. Besides, other primary school teachers who come PTI to get DPEd training is very friendly. I am very happy about the training and my PTI.
I have keep many new ideas for teaching English for today. I am learning how to teach in the class. I am also learning how to make a class more communicative, by using English as much as possible, by getting our students to use English as much as possible and by using pair work. I will develop and evaluate a lesson plan in classroom by analyzing IPT. Really it is very important for us.

Lesson 2: Personal Profile
Q. What do you mean by ‘A Personal Profile’?
Answer:
A Personal Profile is a self-assessment or a self-reflecting document that summaries a person‘s skills, values, interests, personality traits and other necessary background information. The aim is to possess everything a private discovered from self-assessment on one page as a future reference tool. this provides more clarity to a private for his/her career decision-making.
Q. What is job? Make a daily routine considering your own job?

Job:
A job, employment, work or occupation is a person’s role in society. More specifically an activity of in regular and often performed in exchange for payment.
Daily routine:
Most people sleep at least part of the night and are active in daytime. Every life, daily life or routine life comprises the ways in which people typically act, think and feel on a daily basis. Everyday life may be considered as routine, natural, habitual or normal.
Daily routine considering my own job as a teacher:
I get up from bed at 5 a.m. and finished my morning prayer. I make breakfast. I shower, dressed up and eat breakfast at 8:30 a.m. I am require to be e at school at 9 a.m. but I always arrived by 8 8:45 a.m. I make sure that everything I need for the day is in place and then I rehears my day for each class in my mind. Taking attendance, dealing with homework, making lesson plans, managing other administrative items are so many activities I have to do in school hour. During my planning block, I make copies for future lessons. If I had not already done so, called parents, planned after school practices for curriculum activities, meet with the head master and other teachers for various meetings. According to my class schedule I would have lunch and finish my prayer at some point .I am quite sure this routine is no different for my other teacher.
However, after school is where my routine may have the differ.I only live four minutes from school and by the end of the day. I need a change of scenery. I went home, change cloths, answered personal email and spending some time on Facebook. I do anything that do not involve school. So that I can freshen up my mind from monotony.I am truly lucky to spend my days working with kids and my daily routine contribute to my having the physical and mental energy to work hard.
I think it is important make a daily routine as a teacher because plan and then have backups to your plans and backup plans to your backup can make your life easy.
Q. Write a composition about your daily doings using obligations?
Answer:
For my job I have to get up early in the morning. Because I like to prepare my lesson at the beginnings of the day. The school is closed to my house. So, I don’t have to travel a long way to go for work.
Before the lesson start, the children have to stand outside for the assembly. They have to listen to some announcements and sing the national anthem.
After assembly, they have to go inside for the lessons. They might have to give proper concentration in their daily doings. They can’t shout or run in the classroom. In my school they have to wear uniform properly and have to carry their daily utensils.
Also, they have to participate in different kind of extra curriculum activities. It helps their proper mental and physical growing. And it also keeps them active. I work from early morning to night. Yet I am happy because I have no want and I have mental peace.

Answer:
A person is most commonly known by his/her own job. Job is also one kind of role in the society. There are many types of jobs in our society.
Here are some examples of jobs:

There are different types of job and profession in the society but teaching is the most interesting job in my point of view. I love the teaching because the scope of sharing knowledge by teaching.
I can fine interest in teaching because:
- I can help my student and interact with them with learning and thoughtful.
- I can pass my every single moment with learning.
- Teaching is one kind of mentor-ship so that a teacher can motivate his/her student.
- I can inspire my stakeholder easily.
- it is one of the most pleasing professions on the sphere.

My dear Ritu,
I am very glad to have your letter. In your letter you have describe some happy moments with you have enjoyed in life time yet and also wanted to know about a memorable day in my life. The happiest day of my life our tour to Sylhet. We went for a trip to the beautiful hill station last month. It was a nice family trip where we enjoyed a lot. The trip is started on a breezy Friday morning. we went there by bus. My uncle’s family accompanied us.
However, we reached there at afternoon that day. As we travelled a lot so we were tired.
The next day we left the hotel in the morning to visit the place. The weather and nature of Sylhet is so pleasant to watch. We visit tea garden and some hilly area of Sylhet.
After spending three days we left Sylhet returned to Dhaka. That tour has increased our knowledge relieving us of monotony. It was also an amazing experience for us. I am grateful to the almighty for every single day of my life. But there are some days that are more special than others. These are memorable days always cheer me up. No more today hope.
