Lesson-1: The 7 war heroes

1. Why did the libaration war take place?

Answer:

The question of land reforms, state language, inter-wing economic and administrative disparities, provincial autonomy, the defense of east Pakistan and many other consequential questions had been straining the relations between the two wings of Pakistan ever since independence of the country from Britain in 1947.

The war of 71 taken place because:

  • To reform the land,
  • For the state language
  • Discrimination of the imbalance of administrative
  • To get provincial autonomy

The war also results of political; economic, social differences although East Pakistan had a larger population, west Pakistan dominated the divided country in this domain.

2. What are the causes of the Liberation war?

Answer:

“The Bangladesh Liberation War” also known as the Bangladesh war of Independence. The genocide was taken place during the 1971. Bengali Nationalist and self-determined persons were protested and the war started. It resulted in the independence of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The causes behind of the Liberation war are given below:

  • In the began after the Pakistani military junta based in West Pakistan launched operation searchlight against the people of East Pakistan on 25 march in 1971.
  • The Junta annulled the results of the 1970 elections and arrested Prime Minister designated Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
  • The questions of land reforms, state Language, inter-wing economic and administrative, disparities, provincial autonomy, the defense of East Pakistan and many other consequential questions had been starting the relations between the two wings of Pakistan ever since independence of the country from Britain in 1947.

Birsrestha (The seven heroes) is among the Martyrs of the country denying this is the official language may be given the highest military award for the bravery is ” Birsrestha battlefield medal” in recognition of extraordinary courage and self-sacrifice is a sign of a man who set up. Seven fighters were killed in the war of Liberation of the middle.

 The seven heroes are:

7. Birsrestha Shaheed lance Naik Noor Muhammad Shaikh.

6. What was their contribution in the war?

Answer:

embrace Immortal death for the Independence of their motherland. They never thought of anything for a moment except the independence of the nation. They had unbelievable bravery, limitless courage and highest sense of Patriotism. These seven heroes did not allow any presence of the Enemy on land, in the sea and in the air. They fought to save their motherland on land, in the sea and in air to leave a country for their next generation. They made a great contribution in the Liberation of Bangladesh and created a memorable great footstep in the history; the heroic sacrifice of these seven heroes inspired all the freedom fighters in the battle and help create a golden history in the world.

7. What should we do to fulfill our martyrs dream?

Answer:

We should do to fulfill our martyrs dream as follow:

  • We will give place to the ideology of martyrs in our daily work.
  • It is not only necessary to remember the martyrs on special days but also to preserve the honor of their sacrifice.
  • We have to fulfill their dream by building a corruption free Bangladesh.
  • We have to establish ourselves as the bearers of the ideals, beliefs and dreams of the Martyrs.
  • We will play an active role in eliminating social inequality.

We will build a golden bengal by awakening the spirit of patriotism in every student.

8. What are the main tourists spots in the Sundarbans?

Answer:

The main tourist spots in the Sundarbans are:

  • Karamjol,
  • Katka,
  • Kochikhali,
  • Mandarbaria.
  • Hiron point (Nilkamal) attracts many tourists who come to see the wildlife and to admire the natural beauty of the area.

9. What kind of animal live in the Sundarbans? give examples.

Answer:

There are numerous kind of animal live in the Sundarbans. Such as:

  • The world famous Royal Bengal Tiger,
  • deer,
  • snakes,
  • birds,
  • crocodiles,
  • monkeys,
  • wild pig,
  • wild cow,
  • wild buffalo etc.

10. What is the largest mangrove forest in the world?

Answer:

The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world.

11. Mention the land area of the Sundarbans?

Answer:

The total land area of the Sundarbans is 6017 square kilometers or 2424 square miles.

12. How many districts are covered by the Sundarbans?

Answer:

The Sundarbans covers 5 districts. These are:

  1. Satkhira,
  2. Bagerhat,
  3. Khulna,
  4. Borguna and
  5. Patuakhali.

13. When did UNESCO declared Sundarbans as world heritage?

Answer:

The UNESCO declared the Sundarbans world heritage in 6 December 1997.

14. Describe the bio diversity of the Sundarbans?

Answer:

Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world. It Covers an area of 38,500 sq.km. About a third it is covered in winter. Since 1966 the Sundarbans has been a Wildlife sanctuary for over 40 years. It is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal Tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer living there. It is also home to many different species of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and fishes. Over 120 species of fish and over 260 species of birds have been recorded there.

15. Write the name of different types bird. Give a short description about each type of birds.

Answer:

Bangladesh is a home to many different kinds of birds. Almost every area of Bangladesh is rich resource of varieties types of birds. The avifauna take account of a total of 809 species in Bangladesh. We do not even know the names of all these birds. We early in the morning hearing the sweet song of these birds.

Most people can organise the crow. Other well-known birds are the Cuckoo, the Shayma and the Doel. The Moyna and the Parrot are talking birds. They can imitate the human voice and other sounds when they and trained.

Some of the most beautiful wild birds are the Kingfisher, which flies fast and low over water, the woodpecker which make its rat-tat-tat- tat sound by pecking at the trees looking for food.

The Dove, the Pigeon, the Snipe, the Heroine, the Teal, the Pankauri etc. are known as game birds. There are also some tailor birds for example- the swallow, the Tuntuni, the Babui.

Birds are very useful to us so, we should not kill birds. Birds have important role to maintain the ecosystem. So, we must take care of it.

16. Why is the Sundarbans a perfect holiday for animal lovers?

Answer:

The Sundarbans is a very beautiful natural environment. Sundarbans is a perfect holiday for animal lovers because:

  • It is an ideal place for a holiday for people who love to see the wonders of nature.
  • Group of Crocodiles can be seen lying lazily by the river banks.
  • They may see herds of deer and troupes of monkeys playing in the trees.
  • If they are lucky, they might possibly Royal Bengal Tiger swimming in a stream.
